Photo trip to Croatia & Bosnia Herzegovina
To collect background images for an up-coming art project, a trip to Croatia & Bosnia Herzegovina was taken in July 2022. The beautiful scenery offered many photo opportunities.
Valborgsmässoafton (Walpurgis)
Swedish mythical, traditional day, celebrated by lighting large bonfires, singing spring-themed songs, and blasting fireworks.
Valborg has also become one of the big academic festivities. The celebrations start early in the morning with champagne breakfast with strawberries. In Uppsala, there is a fun river rafting competition arranged by students. Accompanied by the loved voices of the men's choir OD (Orphei Drängar) https://od.se/ Valborg is the day for the donning of the student caps. This tradition is especially big in Uppsala where Carolina Hill is the place to be.

Ferry to Finland
From Sweden to Finland and back again. A four hour ferry trip on the Baltic Sea. Tax-free, food and a pleasing scenery.
